Downloading Flingcosound.com sells album downloads and not single tracks. I like to listen to albums. FSS artists like to make albums. They take the time to craft music in the long form. So FSS sells albums on this website. This might change in the future, but for now only whole albums are available. FSS albums are available through other digital vendors so, if you so desire, you can buy individual tracks there. But I think FSS artists' music works best when you listen to a collection of tracks sequenced together as a coherent album. FSS downloads are encoded at the highest possible bitrate for the best sound quality available. There are no DRM restrictions on our digital albums, you can transfer them from device to device or burn them to CD. All vinyl releases come with coupons so LP buyers can download albums if they want a digital copy. If for some reason you can't download the album you've purchased please e-mail fishskull@flingcosound.com and a new download code will be e-mailed to you. Registration Before you buy anything from the site we ask you to register. This information is stored securely and we do not share it with anyone. Having your e-mail address and a mailing address allows us to make sure your download or LP gets to you. And we can send you the special items we create for FSS customers. We sell via Paypal and Paypal processes any credit card information you use to buy FSS releases on a separate, secure server. LPs FSS is releasing select titles on vinyl. FSS record albums are issued in limited editions of 500 each. LPs come with special packaging and on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl. The costs of manufacturing a record album include a separate master, cutting lacquers, reference acetates, test pressings, metal mothers and stampers and artwork. These costs are significantly higher than those involved in manufacturing CDs. So you may find that FSS records are more expensive than other CDs and LPs you find in the store. Suffice it to say that I believe the quality of the total package justifies the extra cost. And when you buy an FSS record you will also be able to download a digital copy for yourself. Subscriptions A subscription is a way to save a bit of money, reserve albums before they are released to the general public and enjoy the benefits of membership including exclusive, unreleased music via download and a series of bonus items FSS will specially commission. A subscription is for one year. You can subscribe at either the vinyl/download or download-only levels. In either case, subscribers will receive albums before release date. You'll be able to rest easy knowing that FSS releases and other surprises will be headed your way for an entire year. Treats are special rewards for FSS customers and subscribers. Unreleased music will be made available from time to time. Some treats will be suitable for framing, others will be emblems to be proudly displayed. In every instance, treats will be specially commissioned items that complement and enhance the music and surprise and delight you when you least expect it. Payment FSS processes web orders through Paypal. If you wish to order via mail, you can send a check or money order (in U.S. dollars only) made out to "Fling" to: FSS PMB 202 5315 N. Shipping LPs Mailing costs for customers are included in the listed price. LPs are sent via media mail in the USA and airmail to the rest of the world. The price of a subscription includes mailing costs. We can send packages via UPS or Fedex at an added cost, e-mail for details. We securely pack LPs before we mail them. The overwhelming majority of packages arrive at their destination safely. We're not responsible for damage that occurs en route to you. FSS is not responsible for duties or customs charges imposed on airmail packages. If you should receive the wrong LP or if an LP has manufacturers' defects like skips, etc, please send an e-mail and we will make arrangements to exchange your defective LP for a new one.
